Mission Statement:

To promote a clean, safe & healthy environment and to encourage individuals to take actions in order to protect the future of our planet.

Actions:

• BYOC (Bring Your Own Canvas) - designed and sold canvas tote bags to promote bringing your own bags to markets

• Hosted Trips to the Solar Hydrogen House at Kings Point Merchant Marine Academy

• Testified at Nassau County Legislature for Green Procurement & Plastic Bag Recycling Bil

• Visited the Brookhaven Recycle Plant and Covanta with Assemblywoman Michelle Schimel

• Developed the "Guilt Free Green" presentation with Assemblywoman Michelle Schimel, The Sierra Club Foundation and The Great Neck Breast Cancer Coalition.

• Developing a Green Snack/Lunch carrying program for several schools in Great Neck.
